In the early 1900s, the Cajuns of South Louisiana made their living by farming the land, fishing the waters, and cutting the timber of the Atchafalaya river basin. When the timber was gone the petrochemical industry came calling. Money brought change - some good, some not. These are a few of those stories.

SWAMP DIESEL (2008)

SWAMP DIESEL is a Louisiana cult classic.   Recorded in 2005 by Rusty Frioux and Tony Stanley in New Orleans, La, SWAMP DIESEL was set to launch right about the time that Hurricane Katrina hit the gulf coast.  With the band scattered across the United States, the group finished mixing the Indie Southern Rock album themselves from the road and released it directly to the Internet.  Fifteen years later, tracks like "Airline Highway Blues" and "The Lion and the Lamb" can be found on digital mixtapes and playlists in every corner of the world.  SWAMP DIESEL has accompanied our fans to Iraq and Afghanistan, to the far edges of the Pacific Rim and the middle of Asia, and to every part of  Louisiana.  You can hear SWAMP DIESEL on Louisiana local radio, stream it on Spotify / Apple Music / Amazon,  or download it here.    BTW - we are trying something different.  You can buy the complete album on CD here, or just download some fan favorites.  Your choice.
